A residential, light commercial system designed to provide waterproofing and insulation with a durable wearing surface. By reducing extreme temperature differentials, both heat gain and thermal shock are limited.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Sprayed-in-Place Insulation - Urethane foam insulation shall be two component, sprayable type specifically manufactured for roof insulation.
    a.  Apply insulation to all low, ponding areas to reduce standing water.
    space
    b.  Spray apply 1 " average 2-1/2 or 3 lb. density foam over all roof areas to seal and insulate the substrate. Insulation shall be carried up all adjacent vertical surfaces to waterproof roof/wall junctures. Additional foam insulation may be applied to taper and enhance drainage and/or to provide greater R-value.
  1. Fluid Applied Waterproofing
    a.  Spray apply 60% solids DURAGARD Acrylic Elastomer coating over insulation at a rate of 1-1/4 gallons per 100 square feet.
    space
    b.  Spray apply second application of 60% solids of DURAGARD Acrylic Elastomer at 1-1/4 gallons per 100 square feet.
    space
    c.  Spray apply third application of 60% solids DURAGARD Acrylic Elastomer coating at 1/1/4 gallons per 100 square feet using a white color.
    space
    d.  Embed Shasta aggregate at the rate of 30-35 Ibs. per 100 square feet onto wet top coat to provide wearing surface.

NOTE:  This system possesses high strength-to-weight ratio, weighing approximately 70% less than a comparable asphaltic roof.  It locks the roof deck together with a monolithic barrier to heat and moisture.  It is adaptable to any configuration upon which it is sprayed.
