Existing Roofing Assembly: 4" thick multiple roof assembly consisting of 2-1/2" perlite insulation, 1 5-ply B.U.R. gravel roof , 1" fiberboard, 1 4-ply smooth built-up roof with aluminum reflective coating.

Roofing Problems: Severe ponding, extensive presence of obsolete mechanical equipment packages. Severe leaking/massive roofing system failure.

Solution: New Duragard Roofing System by Young Builders Roofing.

Major demolition and roof removal phase. Removal of all roof mounted equipment and electrical/plumbing runs.

Extensive metal deck replacement - rotted and unsafe metal deck at numerous locations.

Existing, dripping wet roofing assembly loaded onto push carts on it's way to the landfill.

Beginning stages of 5/8" gyp-substrate installation over metal structural deck.

Primed (black) Gyp-Substrate. Three-man crew using transit to shoot and mark deck elevations for foam fill application to help reduce severe ponding conditions and facilitate better drainage.

Foam application crew hand spraying urethane spray foam in low areas marked in orange locate paint.

Completed urethane application of 1" minimum plus foam fill. Grey base coated (left)/finished yellow urethane spray foam (right). Weather delay due to rainstorm during reroofing process. But it's no problem with polyurethane foam.

Professionaly installed Duragard foam roofing system with a 10-year warranty.

No problems! No leaks! No more drainage issues or obsolete equipment.
